Your privacy
Sporting DNA provides independent football development reflection. This assessment collects the age band and football environment of the player you support, your relationship to them, and your selected answers (20 in the current edition, or 15 when resuming an earlier assessment). Do not provide your child’s name, contact details, team name or other identifying information.
Young players
The player assessment collects a first name or nickname if provided, age group, grassroots or academy pathway, playing position, optional development focus and 36 selected answers. Do not include a surname, contact details, club name or confidential information. A parent or guardian must agree before an under-18 player completes the assessment; an 18-year-old can agree themselves. This agreement is recorded with the private report. Player reports use the same private browser access and storage arrangements described below.
Private reports
Your answers and report are saved privately. A protected browser cookie and encrypted private browser recovery credential allow this browser to reopen your reports for 30 days, including when embedded previews block cookies. The recovery credential is private: do not share it. A report address alone does not grant access. Download your PDF for long-term access. Clearing browser site data or switching browsers removes this browser’s existing access; an optional email claim can grant private access in another browser.
There is no coach, manager or club access to individual responses or reports. An optional club invitation code records a pilot association only; it does not give a club access. The private Sporting DNA administrator dashboard shows assessment activity and optional feedback, not your answers or Blueprint. No club access is provided.
Optional email copy
Neither assessment requires an email address or an account. If you provide an email address at completion, we send a private link after your Blueprint is ready; you may also request a copy from your results page. Hosting and managed email providers process the address to deliver this service, not for marketing. The link is valid for 24 hours and can be claimed once to grant private access in the receiving browser. Do not forward it: anyone who claims it first can access your report. Each report can be emailed up to three times, with at least one minute between requests. No promotional emails are sent. Your results and PDF remain available without email.
Storage and choices
Incomplete answers are saved automatically in this browser’s local storage, with a temporary tab backup, to help you resume after refreshes or closing the tab. They are removed after your completed results load successfully. Completed reports are stored in Lovable Cloud. The 30-day browser access period is not an automatic deletion period; saved reports remain until a deletion request is handled. Use your existing direct contact with the assessment organiser for access or deletion requests, quoting your report address without sending your child’s details.
Do not enter confidential or identifying information in a club code. Future club analysis would require separate review, anonymity and safeguards for small groups; none is available in this pilot.
Optional pilot feedback
After your Blueprint, you may provide an accuracy rating, whether it highlighted a development opportunity, and optional written feedback. Feedback is protected and available to authorised Sporting DNA administrators only. Do not include personal names or sensitive information. Activity records count starts, progress, completed assessments, generated Blueprints and PDF download requests without recording additional answer content.
Educational limits
The interpretation is a reflection on self-reported choices, not a diagnosis or scientifically validated measure. It does not establish misconduct, harm or a child’s feelings, and it does not imply endorsement by The FA.
